January scenery | winter landscapes

Experiencing the landscape in the morning haze, I took an early walk in the crisp chill of winter. The scenery of trees looked splendid in the gentle light. Eagerly awaiting the return of spring's sunshine.
Winter, the coldest season of the year, is a time when the Earth's axis tilts away from the sun, bringing shorter days and longer nights. This season is characterized by a drop in temperatures and, depending on the region, can bring snow, rain, or frost. Cultures around the world have various traditions and festivals to celebrate this time, often involving lights and feasts to brighten the dark days. The winter solstice, occurring on December 21 or 22 in the Northern Hemisphere, marks the day with the shortest period of daylight, heralding the gradual return of longer days.
